Phnom Penh - Tonle Bati - Takeo - Phnom Da - Kep

Itinerary

Day 1 - Phnom Penh - Tonle Bati - Takeo - Phnom Da - Kep (-/L/D)

• Depart from Phnom Penh for Kep. En route, stop at Tonle Bati and visit Ta Prohm temple (12th-13th centuries) and Yeay Peau temple (12th century). Visit the Prasat Neang Khmao, the temple of the Black Virgin (10th century). Visit a silk weaving village before proceeding to Takeo.
• Lunch at local restaurant
• Take a boat from Takeo to Phnom Da (please note that the speedboat does not have a cover or any shade ? hat and sun tan cream essential). Visit Phnom Da temple, a pre-Angkorian laterite tower (6th century) and Asram Maharoseil (6th century), an Indian-style sandstone temple constructed in a style unlike any other temple in Cambodia (the climb up is easy as this particular Phnom "hill" is not very high. The path up to the temple is steep, over some big rocks). Return to Takeo by boat and continue to Kep, formerly known as Kep-sur-Mer. This beautiful coastal area was once the favorite holiday spot for Cambodia?s French-influenced elite.
• Dinner and accommodation at hotel in Kep

Day 2 - Kep - Kampot - Kompong Som (Sihanoukville) (B/L/D)

• Breakfast at hotel.
• Enjoy a half-day boat trip to Rabbit Island (Koh Tunsay) and discover the beautiful and pristine scenery.
• Lunch
• In the afternoon, drive to Kampot and enjoy a tour of this quiet town which has preserved some nice colonial architecture houses. Stop at the market. Continue along the coast and the Damrei (Elephant) Mountains to Kompong Som (Sihanoukville).
• Arrive at Kompong Som and proceed to hotel for check-in.
• Dinner and accommodation at hotel.
Note: Instead of a tour to Rabbit Island, an excursion to Bokor National Park can be arranged at a supplement. Please be advised that access is difficult and has to be conducted by a 4WD vehicle. Please contact us for more details.

Day 3 - Sihanoukville (B/-/-)

• Breakfast at hotel.
• Day at leisure (no car and guide)
• Lunch and Dinner not included (at own account)
• Accommodation at hotel

Day 4 - Sihanoukville - Phnom Penh (B/-/-)

• Breakfast at hotel.
• Free at leisure to enjoy the beach.
• Lunch not included.
• Return to Phnom Penh in the afternoon with private car without guide.
Note: Transfer will be arranged for the afternoon, in case you wish to return to Phnom Penh in the morning, the transfer can be arranged at a supplemental charge!

NOTE: The itinerary can slightly change according to the season, local conditions, climate, flight schedules and room availability.

Note: It is very important to have the Cambodia visa stamped already in the passport - currently it is not possible to get the Cambodian visa stamped upon arrival at Veun Khan border!

For children between 2 to 12 years old, the following price policy applies:
